Amazon Operations is seeking a Reliability Maintenance Engineering Planner to join their team in Leon, Mexico. This role is crucial for maintaining the efficiency of Amazon's vast fulfillment network. The position involves managing asset maintenance, spare parts inventory, and preventative maintenance planning using CMMS software. You'll be responsible for ensuring equipment availability, training team members, and optimizing maintenance processes.

As part of Amazon Operations, you'll be at the heart of the customer experience, managing everything from purchase click to doorstep delivery. The role requires someone detail-oriented who can handle complex maintenance scheduling while maintaining high equipment availability standards. Responsibilities For Maintenance Engineering Planner, Amazon Reliability Maintenance Engineering - IntlRME

  • Be the site level SME on the CMMS software
  • Train the local engineering team in CMMS use
  • Ensure system runs in line with IntlRME standards
  • Manage equipment, spare parts and minimum holding levels in the system
  • Schedule preventative maintenance for technicians
  • Compile equipment information and performance metrics
  • Manage spare parts stock levels and place orders
  • Work with procurement for finding savings and efficiencies

Requirements For Maintenance Engineering Planner, Amazon Reliability Maintenance Engineering - IntlRME

Linux
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2+ years of experience planning, scheduling and auditing maintenance activities
  • Experience with CMMS software
  • Experienced in using MS Excel
  • Experience managing stores or spare parts inventories
  • Fluent Spanish and English (C1+)
