Description For Maintenance Supervisor, Reliability Maintenance Engineering

The Reliability Maintenance Engineering (RME) team is at the forefront of making Amazon synonymous with innovation. As Amazon evolves and adapts to every type of change, this team updates our tools and technological solutions. As a Senior RME Technician, you will help us stay at the cutting edge by adopting the most innovative technologies and identifying new ways to work with maximum efficiency. The role involves careful monitoring of processes to ensure compliance with our high standards. You will work in one of our operations centers on shifts, sometimes including weekends and nights. The position offers growth opportunities into more senior roles as you gain experience in this dynamic branch of Amazon. You'll be responsible for leading maintenance teams, ensuring equipment reliability, implementing preventive maintenance strategies, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across European facilities.

Responsibilities For Maintenance Supervisor, Reliability Maintenance Engineering

  • Demonstrate safe machinery usage practices and monitor teams to ensure correct process adherence
  • Monitor equipment performance through visual checks, condition-based monitoring, and preventive maintenance
  • Supervise technical staff during shifts and act as main point of contact for Reliability Maintenance Engineers
  • Resolve machinery problems to reduce operational interruptions
  • Assist in developing continuous improvement strategies and standardizing processes across European network
  • Lead team ensuring all equipment is available and functioning properly
  • Monitor processes using tools like Scada to ensure performance
  • Work closely with line managers in handling administrative tasks

Requirements For Maintenance Supervisor, Reliability Maintenance Engineering

Linux
  • High school diploma
  • Extensive experience in a technical management role
  • Extensive professional experience in electrical and mechanical fields
  • Extensive experience in automation or material handling machinery environments
  • Advanced knowledge of Italian language (spoken and written)
  • Basic knowledge of English language
