Responsibilities For Malware Researcher / Reverse Engineer - AWS, GuardDuty Security Analytics and AI Research

  • Research the latest malware detection evasion techniques
  • Design and develop signatures and tools to detect and mitigate threats
  • Work with data scientists to help develop and test detections for attack patterns
  • Build tools and systems to analyze emerging threats
  • Work with customers in response to requests related to suspicious files or false positives
  • Advise broader team on current threat landscape, tools & techniques
  • Reverse engineer and analyze malware to evaluate complex malicious code

Requirements For Malware Researcher / Reverse Engineer - AWS, GuardDuty Security Analytics and AI Research

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
  • 3+ years of programming in Python, Ruby, Go, Swift, Java, .Net, C++ or similar object oriented language experience
  • Knowledge of networking protocols such as HTTP, DNS and TCP/IP
