Manager - AWS Application Security, AppSec

We are looking for an experienced security leader to join the AWS AppSec team. As a security leader, you will own building and managing a team of security engineers and leaders, fostering a strong team culture. You and your team will be responsible for reviewing and testing our new services before release, partnering closely with our development teams to produce innovative and secure solutions.

Key responsibilities: • Balance priorities in a shifting security response landscape • Manage finite resources against scale of AWS scope • Maintain technical knowledge and capabilities in the security and AWS spaces • Develop staff in both technical and professional verticals

The AppSec Manager operates at a high pace each day, balancing the team's existing workloads with newly introduced priorities and novel security issues that span AWS. All decisions made have global impact and high visibility. Members of the team are expected to be comfortable and confident communicating with both engineers and executives on a regular basis.
