Responsibilities For Manufacturing Test Engineer

  • Design and Develop test solutions and test-setup prototypes for new technologies
  • Work collaboratively with engineering and operations partners
  • Serve as a test lead on cross-functional projects
  • Ensure the quality and execution of manufacturing test systems
  • Lead test design and drive test coverage reviews
  • Proactively communicate technical information to cross-functional teams
  • Travel to development and build sites in Seattle and Asia
  • Work with contract manufacturing test teams for NPI build events

Requirements For Manufacturing Test Engineer

Java
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Science or related field
  • 7+ years of test development experience working directly within engineering teams and contract manufacturers
  • Experience building and operating production systems or test framework and tools
  • Experience in test methodologies for RF, Wireless and GPS designs
  • Knowledge of factory and test best practices
  • Understanding of rapid product development lifecycles
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident, or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum
