Project Kuiper, an Amazon initiative, is revolutionizing global connectivity through a constellation of 3,236 satellites in low Earth orbit. As a Manufacturing Test Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of bringing fast, affordable broadband to underserved communities worldwide. You'll work with cutting-edge technology, testing and qualifying phased array antennas for satellite broadband internet.

The role combines hands-on technical work with cross-functional leadership, where you'll collaborate with engineering, operations, tooling, supply chain, and quality teams. Responsibilities For Manufacturing Test Engineer, Project Kuiper

  • Own high-volume test processes for Kuiper's integrated assemblies
  • Support qualification test campaigns for development articles
  • Plan, develop, document and execute assembly and test operations
  • Bring-up, test and troubleshoot complex PCBA's at the board level
  • Analyze test failures and provide design recommendations
  • Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical and RF performance problems
  • Specify, procure and set up test cell layouts for the production floor
  • Write technical specifications for integrated assembly and test
  • Work off shifts and weekends as required

Requirements For Manufacturing Test Engineer, Project Kuiper

Linux
  • Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related discipline
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident, or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum
  • Familiarity with Linux operating systems and computer networking
  • Strong organizational, analytical, root cause analysis, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
