Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a talented Mechanical Design Engineer to join their global engineering team focused on data center infrastructure. This role combines technical expertise with leadership opportunities in designing and innovating AWS's expanding data center footprint. The position offers exposure to multi-million dollar projects and cutting-edge technologies in cloud infrastructure.

As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you'll be responsible for leading design consultants, managing critical equipment specifications, and ensuring the successful delivery of data center projects from concept to completion. You'll work closely with internal teams, utilities, manufacturers, and contractors to create resilient and cost-effective systems that maintain world-class uptime for AWS customers.

The role requires strong technical skills in mechanical engineering, particularly in mission-critical air and water cooling HVAC design, combined with project management abilities. You'll be involved in site selection, design review, and working with local authorities to ensure compliance with building codes and requirements.
