Responsibilities For Mechanical Design Engineer, Data Center Design Engineering

  • Work with internal teams to understand user requirements
  • Create data center mechanical designs and collaborate with other disciplines
  • Work with regional vendors and manufacturers to specify mechanical equipment
  • Work with local utilities to define site utility requirements
  • Review and approve equipment submittals
  • Support construction phases and provide technical support

Requirements For Mechanical Design Engineer, Data Center Design Engineering

Linux
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or 6+ years of relevant industry experience
  • 2+ years of experience with industrial or commercial mechanical HVAC design
  • 5+ years experience developing design documentation for construction and/or permitting
  • Understanding of high volume air handling systems and controls
  • Knowledge of building codes and regulations including Life Safety, BOCA, NFPA and OSHA
