  • Execute product designs from concept to production
  • Partner with Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Quality organizations
  • Write requirements and functional specifications
  • Design verification plans and functional test procedures
  • Design and adapt hardware solutions for complex problems
  • Partner with cross-functional teams and vendors
  • Create and lead design experiments

Requirements For Mechanical Engineer, Amazon Robotics (AR)

  • BS in Mechanical Engineering
  • SolidWorks or similar CAD experience
  • Understanding of best practices for part design
  • Hands on experience crafting proof-of-concept models and prototypes
  • Thorough understanding of mechanical engineering principles
  • Ability to effectively communicate concepts and write technical documents
  • Experience with full lifecycle product development
  • Experience evaluating design, performance and logistical tradeoffs
