Responsibilities For MFG Engineer-Mech Assembly, Project Kuiper

  • Design space hardware production processes and production lines
  • Equipment design, procurement, installation, and qualification
  • Work with supply chain partners to manage critical vendors
  • Material flow planning and manufacturing process definition
  • Support space hardware testing, including tooling design and data analysis
  • Assembly, Integration, and Test cycle time & cost optimization planning
  • DFM review and sign off for design release

Requirements For MFG Engineer-Mech Assembly, Project Kuiper

Linux
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, aerospace engineering, physics, material science or related discipline
  • 3+ years of experience developing and building space mechanical assemblies
  • 1+ years of experience planning and driving process development campaigns
  • Must be a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or lawfully admitted refugee/asylee due to export control laws
