MFG Test Engineer, Blink

Blink, an Amazon company, is seeking a Manufacturing Test Engineer to join their innovative team in the consumer camera-based home security market. This role is crucial for maintaining and advancing the manufacturing test process and infrastructure for all Blink hardware products.

The position offers a unique blend of technical challenges and leadership opportunities, starting from early concept prototype builds through to sustaining production and reverse logistics. You'll be working with a complex infrastructure that connects manufacturing partners through cloud systems to the data team.

As a Manufacturing Test Engineer, you'll be responsible for defining test strategies, developing RF system testing protocols, implementing optical calibration procedures, and ensuring robust production control processes. The role requires strong analytical skills for data interpretation and a dedication to continuous process improvement.

Your typical day might involve leading cross-functional meetings across multiple projects, documenting test plans, integrating hardware solutions with new test applications, or traveling to support NPI builds. The position offers flexibility in timing due to collaboration with CMs in Asia and global team members.

The ideal candidate should have at least 4 years of mechanical engineering experience and be comfortable with prototyping and implementation. Knowledge of SolidWorks simulation or Ansys Finite Element analysis tools would be advantageous.
