Responsibilities For Microwave Design Engineer

  • Design and validate hardware for microwave signal conditioning at cryogenic temperatures
  • Solve technical problems across cryogenic signal chain
  • Develop requirements with key system stakeholders
  • Design, implement, test, deploy, and maintain innovative solutions
  • Participate in requirements, design, and test reviews
  • Work cross-functionally to drive decisions
  • Refine and define standards for operational excellence

Requirements For Microwave Design Engineer

  • MS in electrical engineering, physics, or mathematics with 4+ years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge in design of passive microwave components and systems
  • Understanding of electronics design for cryogenic environments
  • Ability to manage complete product life-cycle development
  • Proficient in microwave and mechanical CAD software (HPADS, HFSS, MWO, Altium, COMSOL, SOLIDWORKS)
  • Familiarity with design for manufacturability
  • Proficient in microwave test equipment and automated test development
