  • Clearly communicate project status and blockers to leadership
  • Perform device build and cabling validation activities
  • Manage cabling vendor activities and quality assurance
  • Support Network Engineering deployment activities
  • Complete customer requests via trouble ticketing system
  • Troubleshoot networking, routing and inter connectivity issues
  • Deliver simple, sustainable and repeatable solutions and processes

Requirements For Network Design Engineer I, Amazon Dedicated Cloud (NIDD)

Linux
  • Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph
  • 3-5+ years of mid-level and/or enterprise experience as a technician or engineer
  • Willing to travel up to 40% within geographical work area
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Understanding of infrastructure technologies, including Routers and Switches
  • Understanding of common networking protocols (BGP, OSPF)
  • Knowledge of network cabling, optic types, and test equipment
