Network Development Engineer

AWS Infrastructure Services (AIS) owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. As a Network Development Engineer, you'll join a diverse team to drive the operations of one of the world's largest and complex networks. Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting and maintaining next-generation networks
• Delivering simple, sustainable, and repeatable solutions and processes
• Partnering with the broader Technical Operations organization
• Working closely with Network Engineering & Deployment teams
• Driving standards across the network
• Participating in large-scale event mitigation
• Driving event deep dives and corrective actions
• Improving detection mechanisms
• Troubleshooting platform and interconnectivity issues
• Creating and reviewing documentation
• Identifying opportunities for task automation
