Network Development Engineer

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking exceptional Network Engineers to join their Infrastructure Services team. This role is crucial in deploying and automating one of the world's largest and most complex networks. As part of AWS Infrastructure Services, you'll be responsible for the design, planning, delivery, and operation of AWS global infrastructure.

The position offers an opportunity to work on challenging problems at massive scale, supporting all AWS data centers and their critical infrastructure components. You'll be part of a diverse team including software, hardware, and network engineers, working to ensure AWS customers have continuous access to innovative cloud solutions.

The ideal candidate will be highly autonomous with strong communication and project management skills. You'll be responsible for deploying network infrastructure across various fabrics supporting Amazon Retail Service, Kindle, Payments, and multiple AWS services. Key responsibilities include scaling and automating networks across global datacenters, creating efficient deployment processes, and working closely with automation teams.

This role requires excellent IP networking fundamentals, in-depth knowledge of major internet routing protocols, and experience with various router platforms. You'll be working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where you'll have the opportunity to design scalable solutions and troubleshoot complex network problems.
