Network Development Engineer, InfraComms

AWS Infrastructure Services is seeking a Network Development Engineer to join their InfraComms team, focusing on developing and scaling one of the world's largest and most complex networks. This role is crucial in maintaining AWS's global infrastructure, which supports all AWS data centers and equipment ensuring continuous customer access to cloud innovations.

The position involves working with a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supporting backbone business development and operations teams to drive network stability and sustainability. You'll be responsible for managing complex stakeholder relationships, both technical and commercial, while working with cutting-edge technologies.

As an NDE in the InfraComms team, you'll handle both reactive and proactive operational issues related to AWS's external network services, including PNI, Public Peering, Transit, Embedded Caches, and Backbone. The role requires advanced troubleshooting skills and ownership of critical service issues.

The team operates on a 24x5 schedule across EU/NA/AP regions, ensuring superior experience for AWS customers. You'll work alongside Network Development Engineers from the AMER, APAC, and EMEA regions, directly contributing to improving internet infrastructure and customer experience.
