AWS Infrastructure Services is seeking a Non-Destructive Testing Engineer to join their Operations Services team. This role is crucial for maintaining critical equipment in AWS data centers worldwide. The position involves working with cutting-edge infrastructure, applying non-destructive testing techniques to various systems including power distribution, mechanical, plumbing, and building automation.

Responsibilities For Non-Destructive Testing Engineer, DCC Communities

  • Apply non-destructive testing techniques to install, maintain, and troubleshoot all data center critical systems
  • Act as an ambassador for safety within the team
  • Interact with engineers, technicians, project managers and management
  • Develop and maintain working relationships across all levels
  • Execute predictive and preventive maintenance programs
  • Provide support for planned and unplanned outages
  • Provide cross-functional support for services teams

Requirements For Non-Destructive Testing Engineer, DCC Communities

Linux
  • 1+ year of experience in data center or mission-critical facility operations, or Bachelor's degree in relevant technical discipline
  • 3+ years of relevant work experience in a data center or critical work environment
  • 2+ years of experience with electrical and Nondestructive Testing best practices
  • Understanding of construction and commissioning processes
  • Knowledge of structural, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems
