Responsibilities For Operations Engineer, AMZL Start-Up Execution
- Manage lifecycle of challenging cross-functional projects
- Lead and coordinate systems and automated equipment designs implementation
- Partner with internal teams and external vendors to set project priorities
- Perform equipment/systems installation, throughput and safety qualifications
- Lead effective meetings and document discussions/decisions
- Communicate project status, risk analysis and mitigation plans
- Manage change order controls, purchase orders, and invoice validations
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Identify and lead process improvement initiatives
- Participate in firm engineering reviews
Requirements For Operations Engineer, AMZL Start-Up Execution
- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years of industrial engineer, operations engineer, manufacturing engineer, or project engineer experience in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to travel up to 80% domestically
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, VBA, and SQL (preferred)
- Experience working with and managing third party vendors (preferred)
- Experience with Six Sigma, lean manufacturing (preferred)
