Amazon Web Services (AWS) Managed Services team is seeking an Operations Engineer I to join their dynamic cloud infrastructure management team. As part of AWS Managed Services, you'll be instrumental in automating and managing critical infrastructure components, working alongside talented Operation, Database, and Network Engineers. Responsibilities For Operations Engineer I, AWS Managed Services (AMS)

  • Operate the Managed Service platform and collaborate with internal service teams
  • Troubleshoot complex issues and drive root cause analysis
  • Build utilities and tools for internal use
  • Identify and drive improvements to technical processes
  • Act as an escalation point and mentor to less experienced engineers

Requirements For Operations Engineer I, AWS Managed Services (AMS)

Linux
  • 3+ years of database administration experience
  • 3+ years of continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) experience
  • 3+ years of information security and compliance experience
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent, or 3+ years of technical support experience
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance
