Description For Physical Design Engineer

AWS Utility Computing (UC) is seeking a talented Physical Design Engineer to join their team at Annapurna Labs, focusing on developing cutting-edge semiconductor platforms for cloud computing. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on technologies powering the world's largest cloud provider, AWS, which serves hundreds of thousands of businesses across 190 countries.

As a Physical Design Engineer, you'll be integral to the development of Amazon's next generation of cloud market products. You'll work within the AWS Hardware Development team, specifically focusing on physical design chip development from RTL to GDS. The role encompasses various aspects including floorplanning, synthesis, clock tree synthesis, place and route, static timing analysis, and physical verification testing.

The position offers a unique blend of technical challenges and growth opportunities within AWS's innovative environment. You'll be working with advanced node technologies and implementation tools, while taking full end-to-end responsibility for the physical design of macros and clusters.
