As a Power Electrical Engineer on the satellite power system development team, you'll be at the forefront of space-based systems design. This role focuses on power system verification across the full satellite product lifecycle - from design through on-orbit operations.

The position demands expertise in satellite power subsystem checkouts and tests to determine system health, performance, and functionality. You'll work with cutting-edge technology, developing test systems, automating processes, and improving workflow efficiency. Collaboration with world-class engineers and business leaders is central to the role.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing interface control documentation and verification matrices
  • Creating and executing test plans for electrical power subsystem functionality
  • Supporting vehicle functional testing and scripting
  • Investigating failures and driving issues to resolution
  • Implementing satellite and battery safety mechanisms

You'll be part of the Electrical Power Systems team within the wider Electrical Engineering organization. The work environment is fast-paced and intellectually challenging, requiring interaction with multiple hardware and software design teams.

The position offers competitive compensation ranging from $105,600 to $185,000 per year, depending on location and experience. Amazon provides comprehensive benefits including medical coverage and potential equity compensation.
