Responsibilities For Pre-Construction Manager, AMER Central Data Center Construction

  • Support development and implementation of Pre-Construction program execution across multiple campuses
  • Serve as primary liaison between Real Estate, Design Engineering, Due Diligence, and other teams
  • Perform constructability reviews of critical scopes for new data centers
  • Conduct negotiations with land sellers, developers, and general contractors
  • Manage GC and third-party vendors during design phase
  • Define construction scopes and review bid proposals
  • Develop handoff project documentation
  • Share lessons learned for continuous improvement
  • Travel 25% of the time

Requirements For Pre-Construction Manager, AMER Central Data Center Construction

Linux
  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Civil, Structural, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent STEM field
  • 5+ years of experience in data center delivery
  • Experience of end-to-end construction project delivery
  • Ability to develop new concepts and processes
  • Knowledge of critical data center equipment
  • Professional level knowledge of building codes and regulations
