Pre-Construction Manager, AMER Southeast ML Data Center Pre-Construction

AWS Infrastructure Services is seeking a Pre-Construction Manager to join their team responsible for the design, planning, delivery, and operation of AWS global infrastructure. This role is crucial in keeping the cloud running, supporting AWS data centers, servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment. The ideal candidate will have extensive critical facility pre-construction knowledge and practical construction experience to drive standards in the delivery process.

As a Pre-Construction Manager, you'll work with a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, and operations managers. You'll be responsible for supporting design standards across regional construction programs, serving as a liaison between Real Estate and Design Engineering teams, and providing crucial guidance on cost, schedule, and constructability.

The role requires detailed knowledge of critical data center equipment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to drive practical constructability standards. You'll perform reviews of electrical and mechanical designs, manage general contractors, and handle complex constructability issues. This position involves 25-50% travel, both domestic and international.
