Responsibilities For Principal Hardware Dev Engineer

  • Technically lead interdisciplinary teams from concept to production
  • Develop architecture for complex camera, compute or machine vision modules
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on new product introduction
  • Work with Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Quality organizations
  • Write functional specifications and design verification plans
  • Lead innovation and contribute to intellectual property
  • Provide technical mentorship
  • Develop sensor strategy and technology roadmap

Requirements For Principal Hardware Dev Engineer

Linux
  • BS/MS in Electrical, Mechanical or Optical Engineering (or similar field)
  • 10+ years of experience in mechanical, electrical and system level design
  • Expert in sensing and compute technologies
  • Experience with 3rd party engineering service providers
  • Expert in engineering tools such as CAD and Analytical tools
  • Expertise in DFX design best practices
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to lead multidisciplinary technical teams
  • Experience designing complex hardware products including machine vision and compute products
