Description For Principal Product Manager Tech, dbrown Team

Amazon EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) is seeking a dynamic and seasoned product leader to help define and build the future of cloud computing. As a Principal Product Manager, you will own and drive product management across a range of EC2 products including compute, storage, network, and accelerated computing. You'll be responsible for full lifecycle product management of compute solutions that impact digital transformation across various customer workloads such as AI/ML, generative AI, databases, Big Data analytics, SAP, HPC, Edge, and more.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the definition and execution of the product strategy for the EC2 compute platform and EC2 storage features
  • Defining and gathering inputs for high-quality product and roadmap decisions
  • Working with leaders across AWS, Amazon, and partners to drive the vision
  • Defining project requirements, priorities, and measurement methods
  • Communicating with senior management on project status, strategy, risks, and issues
  • Collaborating closely with engineering teams and designers to deliver results to customers

This role offers a unique opportunity to innovate across all layers of the solution stack, from end customer applications to core infrastructure including AWS custom chips. You'll have strong ownership over portfolio strategy, product definition, feature prioritization, messaging, pricing, adoption, customer interaction, sales enablement, and team development.

The ideal candidate is passionate about cloud computing, customer-centric, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Strong technical and business judgment, solid communication skills, and the ability to work with great teams to deliver high-quality services are essential.
