Principal Solutions Architect, National Security Solutions Architecture Team

Amazon Web Services is seeking a Solutions Architect to support US Government customers in the Northern Virginia \ DC Metro area (relocation assistance available). The ideal candidate will help Intelligence Community agencies implement innovative cloud computing solutions, solve technical problems, and understand application architectures and integration approaches.

Key responsibilities include:

• Partner with customers, AWS Sales, and other AWS teams to craft scalable cloud architectures
• Drive revenue growth across a broad set of customers
• Help organizations understand best practices around advanced cloud-based solutions
• Shape and execute strategy to build mindshare and broad use of AWS within the Intelligence Community
• Conduct training sessions and contribute to AWS customer-facing publications
• Act as a technical liaison between customers, service engineering teams, and support

The role requires:

• 12+ years of experience in specific technology domains
• Strong communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences
• Experience developing technology solutions and evangelizing end-to-end technology roadmaps
• Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph

Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's degree or relevant certifications, 5+ years in a technical leadership role, and experience with cloud architecture, infrastructure solutions, and federal government security requirements.

Base pay ranges from $164,500/year to $284,300/year, depending on the geographic market, with additional compensation and benefits available.
