Description For Process Engineer Amazon Logistics, EU Design Engineering

Amazon Logistics is seeking an experienced Process Engineer to join their EU Design Engineering team. This role focuses on building a world-class last mile operation, driving standardization, and integrating cutting-edge technologies in Delivery Stations. As a key member of the EU Amazon Logistics Engineering team, you'll be responsible for designing new Delivery Stations and optimizing existing ones, while improving safety, customer experience, quality, and cost efficiency.

The position requires strong analytical skills, customer focus, and exceptional project management abilities. You'll regularly partner with Operations teams and other functional business units, working on everything from site designs to automation integration. The role involves frequent domestic travel and reports to the Manager of the Design Engineering team.

You'll be joining a diverse team that values knowledge sharing, mentorship, and inclusive culture. The team works closely with AMZL Operations to develop best-in-class process infrastructure and layouts, delivering them as EU AMZL network standards. They emphasize work-life harmony and focus on career development, assigning projects that help team members grow professionally.

The ideal candidate should have experience in process development within industrial or logistics environments, understanding of Lean Management and Six Sigma principles, and strong project management capabilities. Knowledge of AutoCAD and advanced data analysis skills are beneficial.   • Lead and drive technology integration and standardization in EU-wide programs
  • Contribute to network standardization via best practice sharing
  • Provide process expertise on engineering design

  • Bachelor's degree in Operations, Engineering or Logistics
  • Experience in process development role in industrial, logistics or manufacturing environment
  • Experience in Lean Management, Six Sigma
  • Project Management skills
  • Languages required: English and German
