Join Amazon's Trustworthy Shopping Experience (TSE) team as a Process Engineer I, where you'll play a crucial role in ensuring customers have a trustworthy shopping experience on Amazon's platform. You'll be responsible for analyzing operational processes and developing self-service software products called Paramount workflows. The role combines technical expertise with business process improvement, working alongside operations, product managers, software engineers, and data scientists.

The TSE team focuses on five key areas: eliminating catalog defects, ensuring policy compliance, vetting selling partners, guaranteeing product authenticity, and protecting customers through the A-to-z Guarantee. You'll be instrumental in designing and implementing tools and technology innovations that protect the buying experience while creating a friction-free environment for sellers.

As a Process Engineer, you'll deep dive into processes, simplify workflows, and launch innovative solutions. You'll work with cross-functional teams to understand business models, generate technical requirements, and develop high-quality software products. The role offers the opportunity to directly impact Amazon's customer and seller experience through technology-driven solutions.

  • Operate as a Subject Matter Expert on Amazon's internal authoring application and workflow engine
  • Engage with software development teams to understand and guide evolving program technology
  • Deep dive technical product or operational issues to propose and implement solutions

Requirements For Process Engineer I, Trustworthy Shopping Experience (TSE) Product Team - RISC

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Business, Economics or Finance
  • 2+ years' experience in similar role (process development, product design, business process improvement)
