Production Support Quality Engineer, 2nd Shift, Project Kuiper

Project Kuiper is Amazon's ambitious initiative to increase global broadband access through a constellation of 3,236 satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO). The mission is to bring fast, affordable broadband to unserved and underserved communities worldwide. As a Production Support Quality Engineer on the 2nd shift (Wednesday to Saturday, 5:00 PM to 3:30 AM), you'll be joining at a critical time of production ramp-up.

You'll be responsible for reviewing and approving Nonconformance Reports for satellite products, performing process and product audits, and ensuring compliance with engineering specifications. The role involves direct interaction with manufacturing personnel, providing quality guidance, and managing containment activities when defects are discovered.

The ideal candidate will have a BS in mechanical engineering with 1-3+ years of Quality Engineer experience. You'll need strong problem-solving abilities and the capability to work decisively in ambiguous situations. This role requires US citizenship or permanent residency due to export control requirements.
