Project Design Electrical Engineer, DCC Communities

As a Design Electrical Engineer at AWS Infrastructure Services, you will lead design projects in operational data centers, focusing on remediating issues, upgrading existing infrastructure, and adding new services. You'll be the primary engineering resource for these projects, providing lifecycle support from design through implementation.

Key responsibilities include:

• Performing design and equipment submittal reviews for Data Centers in your region
• Interfacing with internal and external teams to promote standards for consistency and reliability
• Working on concurrent projects across multiple geographical regions
• Supporting construction, commissioning, operations, and turnover
• Managing engineering projects and consultants

You'll interact daily with various teams responsible for different aspects of data centers, mentor junior engineers, and have the opportunity to work on both local and global projects, with up to 25% travel.
