Join AWS Infrastructure Services as a Fleet Remediation Project Design Electrical Engineer, where you'll lead critical design projects in operational data centers. This role combines electrical engineering expertise with cloud infrastructure management, working on projects that remediate issues, upgrade existing infrastructure, and add new services. You'll be part of the team that keeps AWS's global infrastructure running, supporting all AWS data centers and their components.

Responsibilities For Project Design Electrical Engineer, Fleet Remediation Engineering

  • Lead design projects in operational data centers for remediation, upgrades, and new services
  • Own design for existing data center upgrades and solutions
  • Prepare/review short circuit coordination studies
  • Perform design and equipment submittal review for Data Centers
  • Interface with internal and external teams to maintain consistency and reliability
  • Support construction, commissioning, operations, and turnover
  • Manage design and as built drawings and documents
  • Prepare and present progress reports to stakeholders

Requirements For Project Design Electrical Engineer, Fleet Remediation Engineering

Linux
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of design experience with industrial or commercial engineering in Mission Critical facilities
  • Experience with data center builds, network engineering, systems engineering
  • Strong Engineering Judgement
  • Detail and data oriented with familiarity with design/construction processes
  • Experience managing engineering projects and engineering consultants
