Quality Assurance Engineer, Amazon Photos

As a Quality Assurance Engineer (QAE) for Amazon Photos, you'll be part of a team dedicated to preserving and reliving digital memories. You'll collaborate with various roles including Developers, Software Developers in Test (SDET's), QA managers, Software Development Engineers, Product managers, and Technical program managers. Your responsibilities include:

1. Building and maintaining test infrastructure for a multi-platform product (mobile, web, Alexa) to validate all aspects of the product.
2. Designing, developing, and executing comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and manual test cases for new features.
3. Strategizing testing and automation areas, focusing on Mobile UI and Devices test validation.
4. Supporting automation frameworks across various Amazon devices and establishing a continuous build and test cycle.
5. Designing, creating, and maintaining an automated test suite while evolving the automation framework and coverage.
6. Creating and reporting test execution status summaries and defect information.

Key qualifications include:

• 2+ years of quality assurance engineering experience
• Experience in automation testing, manual testing, and UI/API automation testing (Selenium/SOAPUI)
• Preferred: Experience in API & Mobile testing, BS degree in computer science or equivalent, and advanced English proficiency
