Description For Quality Assurance Engineer, Digital Acceleration

Amazon is seeking a talented Quality Assurance Engineer to join the Digital Acceleration (DA) team. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex technical challenges and shape Amazon's mission to be Earth's most customer-centric company. The ideal candidate will serve as the quality lead and strategy owner for large cross-functional projects, scope test requirements, and lead other test engineers in creating quality test plans.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Creating test strategies, writing test plans, and designing test cases
  • Defining and leading the Quality Assurance process
  • Implementing best practices in testing protocols, tools, and metrics
  • Collaborating with multiple development teams to ensure test coverage
  • Participating in Agile standup planning sessions
  • Promoting QA productivity through automation, tools, and best practices
  • Assisting in building tools and frameworks for automated testing
  • Working with remote teams to enable delivery of test artifacts
  • Executing functional, regression, performance, and stress testing

The Digital Acceleration team powers ordering, subscriptions, and device management for Prime, Amazon Video, Music, Audible, Alexa, and Kindle, among other digital businesses. They process billions of digital purchases annually and enable digital businesses to grow worldwide.
