Responsibilities For Quality Assurance Engineer, Fire TV

  • Champion the quality of features in development pipeline using automated and manual tests
  • Report and verify defects
  • Sign-off on features and release candidates
  • Author and execute test plans and test cases
  • Work closely with developers, product managers, and other QA teams
  • Propose improvements to existing processes and automated tools
  • Debug problems using log files
  • Write automated tests with scripts and user-level automated tools
  • Work with Product Management, User Interaction, and Customer Support teams
  • Develop test plans that approximate real-world environments
