Quality Assurance Engineer, Fire TV Product QA

As a QAE on the Fire TV QA team, you will champion the quality of our features in our development pipeline using both automated and manual tests, reporting and verifying defects, and signing-off on features and release candidates. You will own authoring and the execution of test plans and test cases. You will have a significant impact on the quality and delivery speed of our software, our business, and most importantly our customers.

Key responsibilities:

• Champion the quality of features using automated and manual tests
• Report and verify defects
• Sign-off on features and release candidates
• Author and execute test plans and test cases
• Work closely with developers, product managers, and other QA
• Propose improvements to existing processes and automated tools

The ideal candidate will have:

• 4+ years of quality assurance engineering experience
• Experience in manual and automation testing
• Experience scripting or coding
• Experience as QA lead on medium to large sized projects
• Experience with at least one automated test framework like Selenium or Appium (preferred)
• Experience in gathering test requirements to create detailed test plans and defining quality metrics (preferred)
