Quality Assurance Engineer, FTVX Team (Whole World)

As a Quality Assurance Engineer (QAE) on the Fire TV team, you will:

• Champion the quality of our features in our development pipeline
• Use both automated and manual tests
• Report and verify defects
• Sign-off on features and release candidates
• Own authoring and execution of test plans and test cases
• Have a significant impact on the quality and delivery speed of our software, our business, and most importantly our customers
• Work closely with developers, product managers, and other QA to ensure high-quality feature delivery
• Propose improvements to existing processes and automated tools to enhance team speed, quality, and efficiency

The ideal candidate will have good hands-on experience in test automation and testing, with strong knowledge of core software testing techniques and the ability to drive quality upstream.

Basic Qualifications:

• 4+ years of quality assurance engineering experience
• Experience in manual testing
• Experience in automation testing
• Experience as QA lead on medium to large sized projects

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with at least one automated test framework like Selenium or Appium
