Quality Assurance Engineer, Ring

Ring, an Amazon company, is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to join their team in Cambridge, UK. As a core member of the embedded software development team, you will be responsible for developing validation plans, creating automated tests, analyzing validation data, and collaborating effectively with team members. The ideal candidate is passionate about building IoT products and has experience in automation testing, manual testing, and quality assurance engineering.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing validation plans tailored to specific hardware and firmware designs
• Creating automated tests and delivering high-quality Python code
• Analyzing and interpreting validation data, offering insights and recommendations
• Collaborating effectively with team members
• Proactively communicating and demonstrating technical knowledge

The role involves working on Ring Doorbells and Security Cameras, constantly innovating to meet customer needs. As part of Amazon's Day 1 company culture, you'll be solving challenging problems to improve products continuously.

Qualifications:

• Experience in automation testing
• Experience in manual testing
• Bachelor's degree
• Experience designing and planning test conditions, test scripts, and test data sets

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience in API & Mobile testing
• Experience in Java/Perl/Python based automation
