Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking an experienced Data Center Technology Manager to lead their Data Center Operations team. This crucial role involves managing a team of 70+ people across multiple data centers on a 24/7 rotating shift basis. The ideal candidate will drive the vision for Data Center Operations and lead experienced managers.
The position requires expertise in IT Infrastructure, Data Centers, or experience in industrial manufacturing domains. Key responsibilities include team management of Data Center Managers, defining operational strategies, managing global yearly budgets (CAPEX and OPEX), ensuring operational KPIs are met, driving innovation and automation, and managing large-scale events in the datacenters.
AWS Infrastructure Services is responsible for the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. The team works on challenging problems involving thousands of supply chain variables, supporting all AWS data centers, servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment.
The role offers opportunities to collaborate with diverse teams across AWS, including software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, and security experts.
