Description For Reliability Maintenance Engineering Technician

The Reliability Maintenance Engineering (RME) team at Amazon is fundamental to operations, responsible for keeping vital machinery running at all times. As an RME Technician, you'll be part of a technically minded team maintaining and troubleshooting equipment across Amazon's global network of fulfillment centers. The role involves working with cutting-edge technology, including Amazon Robotics and Complex Item Sorter systems.

You'll be based on-site to respond quickly to machinery issues, carrying out planned preventative maintenance and addressing breakdowns promptly. The position requires working on various shifts to ensure 24/7 support, maintaining everything from automated packaging systems to general facility infrastructure. You'll collaborate with senior colleagues on day-to-day maintenance tasks and coordinate with external contractors when needed.

  • Perform proactive and preventative maintenance tasks on site equipment
  • Carry out reactive repairs and fault diagnosis in distribution warehouse

Requirements For Reliability Maintenance Engineering Technician

Linux
  • Served a full Engineering indentured apprenticeship and/or qualified to minimum NVQ level 3
  • Relevant experience as a qualified engineer
  • Relevant experience working in mechanical and/or electrical maintenance
  • Advanced proficiency in the local language verbally and in writing
