The Reliability Maintenance Engineering (RME) team at Amazon plays a crucial role in maintaining operational excellence across their distribution network. As an RME Technician, you'll be responsible for keeping vital machinery running efficiently while ensuring workplace safety. The role combines hands-on technical expertise with preventative maintenance and problem-solving skills.

The position offers exposure to cutting-edge technology, including Amazon Robotics and Complex Item Sorter systems. Responsibilities For Reliability Maintenance Engineering Technician

  • Perform proactive and preventative maintenance tasks on site equipment
  • Carry out reactive repairs and fault diagnosis in live distribution warehouse
  • Use latest tools to maximize equipment effectiveness
  • Uphold health and safety policies and practices
  • Support development and progression of on-site apprentices
  • Work on continuous improvement projects
  • Roll out best practices across EU sites
  • Respond to breakdowns and implement solutions
  • Undertake day-to-day maintenance tasks including painting and plumbing
  • Liaise with contractors for external expertise

Requirements For Reliability Maintenance Engineering Technician

Linux
Python
  • Served a full Engineering indentured apprenticeship and/or qualified to minimum NVQ level 3
  • Relevant experience as a qualified engineer
  • Relevant experience working in mechanical and/or electrical maintenance
  • Advanced proficiency in the local language verbally and in writing
  • Experience in condition-based monitoring (preferred)
  • Experience working with print and apply machines (preferred)
  • Experience in fault-finding and maintaining conveyor or automation systems (preferred)
