Description For Risk & Due Diligence Manager, Risk & Resiliency

AWS Infrastructure Services (AIS) is seeking a Risk & Due Diligence Manager to play a crucial role in datacenter site selection and technical due diligence. This position involves leading technical site due diligence projects and partnering with stakeholders across AWS infrastructure organization to shape the future of AWS' infrastructure growth and investments.

The role requires a strong background in technical program management with the ability to deliver multiple high-priority projects simultaneously. You'll be responsible for evaluating prospective datacenter sites, coordinating technical studies, and making site acquisition recommendations. The position involves working with AWS Infrastructure Services, which owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure.

You'll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, and operations managers. The role offers opportunities to work on challenging problems with thousands of variables impacting the supply chain. Requirements For Risk & Due Diligence Manager, Risk & Resiliency

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • 10+ years of technical program or project management experience
  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering or scientific discipline, or equivalent experience
  • Multidisciplinary concept/preliminary design experience
  • Background in civil engineering, architecture, environmental sciences, or similar technical disciplines
