Amazon, the world's leading customer-centric company, is seeking a Facilities Manager for their fulfillment center operations in Mumbai, India. This role represents a unique opportunity to join a dynamic organization that's revolutionizing global e-commerce. As the Facilities Manager, you'll be responsible for overseeing all aspects of building maintenance, equipment operations, and third-party service provider management.

The position requires a strong technical background with BE/BTech in Electrical/Electronics/Controls & Instrumentation, combined with proven experience in industrial or logistics environments. You'll lead a team of maintenance technicians and coordinate with various departments to ensure optimal facility operations. Key responsibilities include implementing preventive maintenance routines, managing vendor contracts, ensuring workplace safety, and maintaining equipment reliability.

This role offers the chance to work with cutting-edge logistics technology while managing complex facility systems including HVAC, electrical systems, conveyors, and PLC control systems. Responsibilities For RME Manager-I

  • Overall building and facilities maintenance management (Reliability, Performance, Cost)
  • Equipment maintenance management including trolleys, conveyors, workstations, and control systems
  • Develop and implement Preventive Maintenance Routines
  • Manage vendor AMCs and service levels
  • Coordinate material purchasing with Procurement Team
  • Manage spare parts identification and stock levels
  • Monitor equipment performance and availability
  • Lead maintenance technicians and 3rd party facilities service providers
  • Ensure workplace safety compliance
  • Maintain 5S standards for building housekeeping
  • Support Engineering team with new equipment installation

Requirements For RME Manager-I

Linux
  • BE/BTech in Electrical/Electronics/Controls & Instrumentation
  • Significant experience in fast-paced industrial or logistics environment
  • Strong analytical, team leadership and organizational skills
  • Electrical and Mechanical background
  • Experience in HVAC installation, Sprinkler, general building equipment
  • Experience in subcontractor management
  • Troubleshooting and fault-finding expertise
  • Ability to read technical drawings and manuals
  • Supervisory experience
  • Proficiency in MS Office (required) and CMMS, AUTOCAD (preferred)
