Amazon Robotics is seeking a passionate Business Intelligence Engineer to join their Sortation Analytics team. This role sits at the intersection of robotics and data analytics, where you'll work on discovering insights from vast robotic data to improve warehouse automation technologies.

As a Business Intelligence Engineer, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, software and hardware engineers, and operations teams to understand product requirements and make feature trade-offs. You'll be responsible for conducting insightful analysis using various methods including statistical modeling, machine learning, and data visualization.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering teams, program managers, and leaders

  • Use unified and disparate data sources to uncover insights
  • Deliver decision-driving analytics white-papers and automated data visualizations
  • Collaborate with Data Scientists, Data Engineers, and Program Managers to define and deliver analytics tools

Requirements For Robotics Business Intelligence Engineer

Python
  • 3+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc. experience
  • Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
  • Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
  • Experience in Statistical Analysis packages such as R, SAS and Matlab
  • Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modeling
