Amazon Robotics is seeking a passionate Robotics Change Management Engineer to join our global team of innovators. In this role, you'll be at the forefront of transforming customer experiences through advanced robotics and automation. Working with a smart team of doers, you'll manage system configurations, service integrations, and software testing for Amazon's mobile robotics platform worldwide.

The position offers a unique opportunity to drive Robotics fleet change management and software retrofit projects, improving the performance, reliability, and safety of globally deployed robotic systems. With a primary focus on new site launches, you'll collaborate closely with Software, Retrofit, Hardware, and Deployment Engineers to own integration projects from strategic planning through execution.

As part of a global team spanning the EU, Australia, and US, you'll support a vast network of robots across Amazon's fulfillment centers. This role combines technical expertise with project management, requiring skills in Linux, AWS, and process improvement. You'll have the chance to become a subject matter expert in robotics engineering, serving as a point of escalation on critical issues.

Responsibilities For Robotics Change Management Engineer, Robotics Systems Support Engineering

  • Work Sunday through Thursday 7 am - 4 pm UK local time
  • Oversee multiple robotics launches/implementations, upgrade and enhancement projects
  • Collect Voice of the Customer (VOC) data and share success stories
  • Create and maintain problem resolution procedures
  • Deploy Software at Amazon Robotics sites around the world
  • Monitor queues, execute changes and respond to issues within defined SLAs
  • Develop processes to implement product upgrades on fielded Amazon Robotics products
  • Run configuration studies/pilots and write whitepapers

Requirements For Robotics Change Management Engineer, Robotics Systems Support Engineering

Linux
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or equivalent
  • Experience in QA engineering or process improvement
  • Working experience with Linux and AWS
  • Proven ability to root cause issues, drive improvements, and apply preventive measures
