The role focuses on developing high-performance, real-time robotic systems that can perceive, learn, and interact safely with humans in fulfillment centers. You'll be responsible for designing and improving system controls architecture, developing controls code, and implementing system optimizations. The position involves working closely with hardware and software engineering teams to create scalable, real-time implementations.

Requirements For Robotics Control Engineer, Amazon Robotics

  • BS / MS Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or similar field)
  • 3+ years of experience developing production motion control systems for robotics or industrial automation
  • 1+ years of designing or architecting systems experience
  • Experience with C++, CodeSys, Allen-Bradley PLCs, Siemens PLCs, or similar
  • Experience with IEC standards for programming controls for robotics
  • Working knowledge of Version Control GIT
  • Knowledge of systems engineering fundamentals
  • Experience with Functional Safety standards
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
