Amazon is seeking a Process Engineer to join their AU Operations Process Engineering (PE) team, a globally diverse group driving process stabilization, standardization, and continuous improvement. This role represents an exciting opportunity to be part of the formal launch of Process Engineering in Australia. The position focuses on establishing benchmark operating standards, accelerating technology implementation, and strengthening process knowledge across the FC network.
As a Process Engineer, you'll work with a diverse team to reduce variation, optimize standard work, and build mechanisms for compliance. The role requires strong analytical skills, leadership abilities, and expertise in process improvement methodologies. You'll be responsible for evaluating performance metrics, conducting audits, developing standard operating procedures, and partnering with operational leaders to drive improvements.

Responsibilities For Robotics Process Engineer, AU Process Engineering
- Evaluate performance objectives and metrics across the super region
- Audit, teach, and drive execution to benchmark standards
- Develop and implement detailed standard operating procedures
- Partner with operational leaders within the FCs
- Train operational leaders in process standards
- Partner with ACES for reviewing critical inputs and best practices
- Execute, measure and support communication of variation reduction impacts
- Work with cross-functional teams on network-wide initiatives
Requirements For Robotics Process Engineer, AU Process Engineering
- Degree from an accredited institution
- Experience from Industrial Engineering, Business Process Engineering, Quality, Operations or Logistics
- Project Portfolio Management experience/Process Engineering Experience
- Cost variation/Cost saving experience within a similar industry
- Ability to travel up to 20% of the time across the AU region
