Responsibilities For Robotics Systems Engineer, Vulcan Stow Hardware and Systems
- Define and explore design space for complex robotics and automation problems
- Identify and analyze cross-functional tradeoffs between design alternatives
- Break down and frame problems using concept of operations
- Identify design choices to ensure products are safe, reliable, and usable
- Perform technical risk assessments and devise mitigation plans
- Define metrics for measuring performance and success rates
- Build quantitative models and analyses
- Develop system integration and evaluation strategies
- Drive system test campaigns across lab and field testing environments
Requirements For Robotics Systems Engineer, Vulcan Stow Hardware and Systems
- 5+ years of experience with eliciting and clarifying business and end user needs
- Experience leading technical collaborations across diverse groups
- Experience identifying and analyzing dependencies across multi-disciplinary systems
- BS or equivalent in STEM discipline
