Description For Salesforce Engineer - Field Service, Kuiper Commercial Revenue Operations

Project Kuiper is an ambitious initiative by Amazon to revolutionize global broadband access through a constellation of 3,236 satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO). The mission focuses on bringing fast, affordable broadband to unserved and underserved communities worldwide. As a Salesforce Engineer in the Kuiper Commercial Revenue Operations (CRO) team, you'll play a crucial role in developing enterprise solutions on the Salesforce platform.

The position involves architecting and implementing field service solutions using technologies like Omniscript, Order Management, Field Service Management, Service Cloud, and APEX. You'll collaborate with product managers, technical program managers, and software engineers to design and develop technical solutions. Key responsibilities include designing business workflows for quote management, contract management, and order orchestration, producing system architecture documentation, and implementing solutions using various Salesforce technologies.

The role requires expertise in deploying solutions using technologies like SFDX, Copado, and Gearset, along with strong knowledge of source control systems. You'll also be responsible for monitoring middleware performance, troubleshooting issues, and providing technical leadership to ensure successful integration projects. The position includes mentoring entry-level and mid-level engineers.

The Kuiper CRO team drives business strategy, product management, customer adoption, and system development for Kuiper's commercial business. The compensation package is comprehensive, ranging from $116,300 to $201,200 per year based on geographic location, plus potential equity, sign-on payments, and full benefits. The position requires U.S. citizenship or permanent residency due to export control laws.

Responsibilities For Salesforce Engineer - Field Service, Kuiper Commercial Revenue Operations

  • Design and architect business workflows for quote management, contract management, and order orchestration
  • Implement solutions using APEX, Field Service Management, Service Cloud, and Order Management
  • Deploy solutions using DevOps and enterprise security best practices
  • Monitor middleware performance and troubleshoot issues
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams
  • Design, develop, and review Apex code
  • Oversee and mentor entry level and mid-level engineers

Requirements For Salesforce Engineer - Field Service, Kuiper Commercial Revenue Operations

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent
  • 4+ years of software development experience
  • 2+ years of experience with CPQ or Order Management and Order Orchestration
  • Knowledge and experience of deploying solutions using SFDX, Copado and Gearset
  • Knowledge of source control systems such as Git
  • 2+ years of Salesforce Development experience
  • 2+ years of designing or architecting systems
  • Must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or admitted refugee due to export control laws
