The mission focuses on bringing fast, affordable broadband to unserved and underserved communities worldwide, serving consumers, businesses, and government agencies.

As a Satellite Test Engineer on the Integrated Vehicle Test Team, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the success of this groundbreaking project. You'll be responsible for architecting next-generation test infrastructure and leading Integrated Vehicle test campaigns. The position involves developing and executing test campaigns for fully integrated satellites to ensure launch readiness.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and supporting integration testing from subsystems to full spacecraft
  • Collaborating with avionics, payload, and software teams
  • Leading integration campaigns and working with various engineering teams
  • Developing innovative hardware and processes to optimize testing capabilities

Responsibilities For Satellite Test Engineer, Integrated Vehicle Testing

  • Develop and support integration testing from subsystems to full spacecraft
  • Work with avionics, payload and software teams to gather requirements and design test plans
  • Own integration campaigns and collaborate with various engineering teams
  • Communicate across teams to identify product risks
  • Develop innovative hardware and processes to optimize testing capabilities
  • Lead Integrated Vehicle test campaigns
  • Ensure satellite readiness for launch

Requirements For Satellite Test Engineer, Integrated Vehicle Testing

Python
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, aerospace engineering, computer science or a related field
  • 2+ years of hands-on testing experience
  • 2+ years of design and validation of hardware systems work experience
  • 2+ years of navigating a development environment
  • 2+ years experience developing and executing test plans for complex aerospace, automotive or consumer electronics systems
  • 1+ years of scripting or programming experience (Python, MATLAB, C, Labview)
  • Solid understanding of Engineering and Testing fundamentals
  • Must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or have refugee/asylum status
