Project Kuiper, an ambitious Amazon initiative, is seeking a Satellite Test Engineer to join their mission of providing global broadband connectivity through a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites. Responsibilities For Satellite Test Engineer, Integrated Vehicle Testing

  • Develop, augment, and support integration and testing of components, from subsystems to the full spacecraft
  • Work with avionics, payload and software teams to gather requirements, design test plans
  • Own integration campaigns and collaborate with engineers to deliver thoroughly tested spacecraft
  • Communicate across teams to identify product risks and ensure mission success
  • Develop innovative hardware and processes to optimize testing capabilities
  • Lead Integrated Vehicle test campaigns
  • Architect next generation test infrastructure

Requirements For Satellite Test Engineer, Integrated Vehicle Testing

Python
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, aerospace engineering, computer science or a related field
  • 2+ years of hands-on testing experience
  • 2+ years of design and validation of hardware systems work experience
  • 2+ years of navigating a development environment
  • 2+ years experience developing and executing test plans for complex aerospace, automotive or consumer electronics systems
  • 1+ years of scripting or programming experience (Python, MATLAB, C, Labview)
  • Solid understanding of Engineering and Testing fundamentals
  • Must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or refugee/asylee due to export control laws
